Although Scott has retired from the scene we keep this for him should he ever want to comeback.
Unfortunately, Scott does not like the way
hardcore has gone and cannot relate to the current scene, although a lot of peoples kneejerk reaction is to say "well do something about it"; no-one can deny Scotts attempts at
doing just that.
Scott always made music for himself and the crowds he played to, he knew them well and always got them rocking. His decision to retire was well thought out and an inspiration to be followed, his theory was;
he did not like new hardcore; he hated the way all the dj's came back in 2000 when things started to get better and he thought them hypocrites, he would not become like that. He would not
attempt to make or take money for playing a music he did not like and would not resort to old skool when he was booked for new.
Best of luck for the future Scott, congratualations on the new edition, due soon and there will always be a place in the scene for you if the mood swings back to how you like it. The set at Wonderland was amazing
and your face was a picture playing it, you can see when it means something to you.
